Certificate in Foundation Studies
Replaces the final year of high school and provides students with a focused pathway into any of the ߣ’s bachelor’s degrees.
The programme is structured across two trimesters and includes a set of core courses that develop skills and knowledge necessary for academic success at a university level, a numeracy elective, and three courses from an area of focus in Arts, Business, Engineering, or Science.
Our foundation course provides a supportive, immersive experience of university life on campus in New ߣand sets you up to successfully enter the first year of your chosen bachelor’s degree.
Diploma in University Studies
one-year programme that serves as an alternate first year to your corresponding bachelor’s degree at UC. Upon completing the Diploma, students progress into the second year of a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Data Science.
Students completing the Diploma will receive extra academic, language, and wellbeing support in their all-important first year of university study on UC's campus.
If you don’t meet the undergraduate English language requirement, the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 2 programme, delivered by UC's preferred on-campus English language provider- ,provides an alternative pathway.
Students who achieve a minimum grade of C+ in this 12-week qualification are deemed to meet the undergraduate entry requirement.
